With Autumn season finally upon us, now’s the perfect time to get into the Halloween spirit. Whether you’re a parent looking for plans to keep the little ones busy over the spooky season, or friends looking for some frightful fun, we have something for everyone to sink their teeth into this October half term!

During Halloween season, our Zip World locations in Wales transform into wretched realms, featuring spine-tingling adventures – this includes eerie woodlands full of clowns and historical mines crawling with monsters! Come and scare yourselves silly with one of our many Zip World Halloween experiences across North and South Wales.

Ffear Fforest – Zip World Betws-y-Coed, North Wales
11th October - 3rd November 2024
7:30pm - 10:30pm

Our annual Halloween scare-fest is a firm favourite in North Wales, featuring hordes of terrifying clowns that will stop at nothing to scare you all evening. Set in a dark, secluded forest, our horrifying Halloween experience ramps up the fear factor - not only must you avoid being tormented by our pratfall of clowns, but you also take-on some of the most iconic Zip World adventures in the dead of night! As if they weren’t scary enough during the day, our adventures undergo a creepy night-time makeover for the spooky season, shrouded in darkness with nothing but eerie lights to show you the way. Not to mention the clowns are always waiting around every corner.

Take-on the Cursed Coaster, a toboggan-style rollercoaster ride where you reach speeds of up to 25mph as you dart down 700m worth of track through silent woodland – 3 times per person, no less! Unlimited access to The Nets are also included in the experience, where you will run, jump and hide along this vast bouncy netted adventure suspended in the woodland, whilst avoiding detection from our hideous clowns.

This Halloween experience also allows you to add optional extras, if you’re feeling brave enough of course, such as our 100ft freefall drop, Nightfall, or our giant 5-seater swing, Screamride. If high-adrenaline adventures aren’t quite your thing, you could always try your hand at Tree Horrors, an entirely new experience to the Ffear Fforest 2024 roster. This challenging high ropes course is tucked away in the trees and will see you tackling 6 treetop zip lines and various other obstacles, which will no doubt throw you off balance – if the clowns grabbing at your ankles don’t first.

Just an hour’s drive from Chester and 2 hours from Manchester, Ffear Fforest offers an evening of frights and jumps for everyone, from brave families with children over the age of 9, or friends that want the ultimate shared experience! Night Passes will get you into the event, as well as unlimited access to The Nets and 2 rides on Cursed Coaster. Night Passes start from £28pp with the added extras starting at £16.

This event is specially curated to be a genuinely scary experience, so we recommend children above the age of 9 years only attend Ffear Fforest, but this is at a parent or guardian’s discretion. All regular adventure restrictions apply.
