Check-in

The first step of any Zip World adventure; arrive half an hour before your adventure start-time to check-in at reception and settle in.

Hop aboard

After being introduced to your guide, you will have a quick safety briefing before stepping aboard the truck. Once aboard, you’ll grab a seat and fasten your seatbelt. If it’s raining or windy, the transparent window covers will be rolled down to protect you from the elements.

The tour

The truck will take you along a massive 3km uphill slate track, stopping off at areas of interest and outstanding natural beauty so that you can learn all about the past and present, whilst enjoying the World Heritage Status location.

The journey up

You’ll climb the track, reaching heights of 1500m! Don’t worry, this is not an adrenaline experience, this is a fun and informative activity which will expand your knowledge. The tour itself will take around 60-90 minutes.

Tea and cake

Once you and the group have headed back down the slate track to the Adventure Terminal (reception) building, you will head upstairs to the Blondin Restaurant where you will enjoy a brew with some locally-baked cake to stunning floor-to-ceiling views of the quarry beyond.
