Duration

The event runs from 5:30pm - 8:30pm on selected days.

Age restriction

Children must be aged 9+ to participate.

Adventures after dark

As darkness falls, take on the Forest Tubing slides after hours for a thrilling experience you won’t normally get the chance to try. Race through the forest in the dark, with the familiar twists, turns and adrenaline of Forest Tubing transformed by the eerie atmosphere of Halloween.

With limited visibility, spooky surroundings and surprises waiting in the shadows, every run feels that little bit more unpredictable. It’s a rare opportunity to experience Forest Tubing in a whole new way.

Restrictions

Before booking this adventure, please carefully review the following restrictions to ensure you and your party meet the minimum participation requirements. Any participant under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over, and in most cases, an adult must take part in the group unless stated otherwise.

Min Age

You must be at least 9 years old to take part in this adventure

Supervision for under 18’s

4 - 6 years: 1 participating adult 18 yrs+ is required for every 2 children

7 - 11 years: 1 participating adult 18 yrs+ is required for every 3 children

12 - 17 years: 1 spectating adult 18 yrs+ is required for every 7 children

Min Height

A minimum height of 1m is required for this adventure

Min Weight

Participants must be above 20kg to take part in this adventure

Max Weight

Participants must be below 120kg to take part in this adventure

Max Weight (Combined)

Participants combined weight must be below 120kg to share a tube.

Suitable Footwear

Closed-toes, flat shoes are required such as trainers or boots. Open-toed or any shoes such as high heels, crocs or flip flops, are not permitted.

Walking Ability

Due to the nature of this adventure, everyone must be able to walk and be physically fit. Babe in arms are not permitted

Headscarves and Scarves

For safety reasons, headscarves or scarves must not be tied, pinned, or wrapped around the neck

Pre-existing Injuries

Anyone with injuries or conditions such as weak ankles or knees should not take part in this adventure.

Jewellery

Facial jewellery is not permitted on this adventure. You will be asked to remove it completely or tape it over, depending on its location, before taking part.

Skreacher

Skreacher hasn't had a chance to use those rows of sharp teeth for years while he's been trapped in Heaton Park; so no doubt he'll be on the hunt for his next meal over Halloween. Those white eyes can see well in the dark, so there's no point hiding in the shadows when he's around!

Coblyn

There have been whispers that Coblyn has grown bored of the Welsh mines, and has moved to Manchester in search of new victims! Don't let him catch you as you zoom along the Forest Tubing slides - he's faster than he looks.

Afanc

Afanc and Coblyn have taken over the woodland of Zip World Manchester together, after spending millennia haunting the Welsh mines. With a new lease of life and a hunger for terror, Afanc will stop at nothing to scare the life out of you!
