This seated zip line adventure will see you taking on 2 zip zones, alongside up to 3 other people at speeds of up to 60mph, all whilst soaring over the stunning slate quarry. Soar along the Llechwedd quarry in two different zip zones
Hop aboard with the rest of your group, kick back and enjoy the scenic ride through the stunning historical slate quarries to the very top of the first of two zip lines that you'll embark upon. Once clipped onto the zip line, you will fly at speeds of over 50mph and will get the chance to soak up the beautiful slate landscape, before disembarking and walking a short up-hill distance to the second and final zip line. With 4 parallel lines in each of the two zip zones, you can fly alongside friends and family, making this a truly memorable experience.

What to expect from your experience
So what’s involved in the experience? Here we’ll talk you through each step of the process for ultimate peace-of-mind, and you’ll see just how accessible this adventure really is!
Check-in
The first step of any Zip World adventure; arrive half an hour before your adventure start-time to check-in at reception and settle in.
Kit-up
Once checked-in, you’ll take a very short walk to the kit-up area, where a member of our team will kit you up into your harness, goggles and helmet, as well as provide that all-important safety briefing. You’ll also get the chance to grab a headcam here too.
The Quarry Explorer truck ride
From the kit-up area, you will be guided through a fun underground tunnel (don’t worry, you won’t be in a small enclosed space here, and it does not involve any climbing or steps), to the Quarry explorer truck. You and your group will hop aboard and embark on the uphill journey through the Llechwedd quarry to the very top of the Bravo zip line, where you will soak up the stunning sights and sounds of the best of Welsh countryside. You will alight at the top of the first zip, where the real adventure begins.
Bravo zip line
Bravo is the first zip zone, and consists of 4 parallel zip lines, each at around 550m in length. A Zip World team member will begin with a safety briefing, before connecting you to the zip line. After a 3, 2, 1, the gates will open and you can jump off the platform and into your first flight. Here you’ll feel the pure peace and freedom of soaring to the backdrop of the Eryri mountain range, not to mention that ground-rush as you reach the brakes at the end of the zip line! Once at the base, another team member will unclip you.
Charlie zip line
From here, there is a short, uphill walk to the top of the next zip zone, Charlie. Charlie is a similar length and speed to Bravo, allowing you to relive the epic experience once more, with a different view of the quarry to boot.
De-kit
Once you’ve touched down at the Charlie base, you will take a short walk to the de-kit area, which is sign-posted, and a member of our team will take off your harness and point you in the direction of the headcam footage collection point.
FAQs
When should I arrive?
You will need to arrive on site ready to check in for your experience 30 minutes prior to your adventure start time.
What should I wear?
You will need to wear warm comfortable clothing suitable to the weather on the day, with walking boots or trainers. Some of our experiences require your arms and legs to be covered, please check individual adventure restrictions to see if this applies to you.
Can I protect my booking if I need to make any last-minute changes?
Yes, you can purchase ticket protection insurance at check-out which will allow you the flexibility to make a last-minute change or cancellation.
Can I book over the phone?
It is quicker to book online, but you’re welcome to call us if you’d prefer; please do so on 01248 601 444. Please note there may be a wait time on the phone, particularly during busy periods.
Is Zip World open every day?
During holidays, we are generally open every day, and always on weekends. During off-peak seasons, please visit our checkout to see our booking calendar and our opening days.

How do I book?
The easiest way to book is online. Click the red ‘Book Now’ button at the top of the page, and select your adventure, time, date and number of participants.
Do I need to book in advance or can I just turn up?
We’d always recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment. If you turn up without a booking, we will do our best to fit you in, but cannot guarantee this. Please be sure to book in advance if you’re travelling a distance to visit us.

You’ll find us just off the main road, so we’re easily accessible, with bus and train routes nearby too.
