What to expect from your experience
So what’s involved in the experience? Here we’ll talk you through each step of the process for ultimate peace-of-mind, and you’ll see just how accessible this adventure really is!
Check-in
The first step of any Zip World adventure; arrive half an hour before your adventure start-time to check-in at reception and settle in. At the time of your adventure, make your way to the Aero Explorer kit-up area, which is conveniently located right next to reception!
Kit-up
Once you’ve been let into the kit-up area by a member of our team, you will be kitted-up into your harness and helmet, as well as receive an all-important safety briefing. Here you will also receive your head cam, whether you’ve pre-booked or opt to pay on the day.
The ride
When you and your group are kitted up, you’ll head over to the adventure itself, where one by one you will ascend the first tower. This tower is around 10m in height, and the very top will be your first launch area! You can run, jump or simply walk off the edge; your harness is connected to the overhead track, so you can now just let the wind take you.
Setting off
This first section of the track is short and fairly slow-paced, just to get you used to the sensation. You will then land and ascend the second, larger tower. This section of the track is much longer and will see you reaching speeds of up to 30mph as you twist and turn along the track!
Round two
Each ticket comes with 2 rides, so once you’ve reached the end of the track, you can hop straight back into it.
De-kit
When you’ve touched down for the last time, you will head back to the kit-up area to take your harness and helmet off, and a member of our team will point you in the direction of the camera footage collection point.
