What to expect from your experience
So what’s involved in the experience? Here we’ll talk you through each step of the process for ultimate peace-of-mind, and you’ll see just how accessible this adventure really is!
Check-in
The first step of any Zip World adventure; arrive half an hour before your adventure start-time to check-in at reception and settle in.
Kit-up
Once checked-in, you’ll take a very short walk to the kit-up area, where a member of our team will give you a hard helmet (very important when adventuring in caves and caverns!) and provide that all-important safety briefing.
Training
As part of your experience, you will receive a training session, teaching you everything there is to know about navigating the treetop adventure course with your harness and its attachments. This will include trying out a shorter version of the course first, which is lower to the ground than the main Zip Safari course.
Good to go
If the instructor and yourself are satisfied that you’ve gotten to grips with the system, you may proceed to the main course!
The main event
Reaching heights of 18m, you encounter plenty of zip lines, tightropes, balancing logs and even a mini coaster to sit in! This should take around an hour to two hours, depending on how speedy and confident you are taking on the high ropes course. Make sure you take time to take in those incredible views too!
De-kit
Once you’ve landed safely back on the ground once more, you will take off your harness and set off to enjoy everything else Zip World Betws-y-Coed has to offer!
