Helix awaits, but here’s everything you need to know about the experience before you get started…
The first step of any Zip World adventure; arrive half an hour before your adventure start time to check-in at reception, and hear the echoes as you stand underneath the giant 84 tonne cone-shaped canopy.
When it’s time, hop aboard the lift and ascend 76m to the lower viewing platform, where Helix awaits. This journey will take approximately 34 seconds.
Whilst you’re waiting your turn, collect your mat (which will help you to go faster down Helix!), and enjoy the stunning panoramic views around you – how many of London’s famous landmarks can you spot?
Hop atop your mat and off you go! You will reach speeds of 15mph as you descend the 178m Helix tunnel slide, looping around the ArcelorMittal Orbit 12 times and catching glimpses of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on your way down.
Now your adventure is complete, why not discover everything else Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park has to offer, from the London Aquatics Centre, to the multiple playgrounds and cafes.
You will need to arrive on site ready to check in for your experience 30 minutes prior to your adventure start time.
You will need to wear warm comfortable clothing suitable to the weather on the day, with walking boots or trainers. Some of our experiences require your arms and legs to be covered, please check individual adventure restrictions to see if this applies to you.
Yes, you can purchase ticket protection insurance at check-out which will allow you the flexibility to make a last-minute change or cancellation.
