What to expect from your experience
So what’s involved in the experience? Here we’ll talk you through each step of the process for ultimate peace-of-mind, and you’ll see just how accessible this adventure really is!
Check-in
The first step of any Zip World adventure; arrive half an hour before your adventure start-time to check-in at reception and settle in.
Kit-up
Once checked-in, you’ll take a very short walk to the kit-up area, where a member of our team will give you a hard helmet (very important when adventuring in caves and caverns!) and provide that all-important safety briefing.
Heading underground
Well, kind of! For any nervous adventurers, don’t worry, you won’t be descending at any point, nor will you be in any small, tight spaces. The Bounce Below cavern is set within the slate mountain, which is at ground-level, meaning you’ll simply take a short, guided walk through some tunnels to reach your destination. No climbing, ducking or descending involved.
Last minute questions?
After one final briefing from the team , you’ll be free as a bird to explore the vast Bounce Below adventure at will. If you’re taking on the slides, remember to grab a sack!
Ready to bounce!
You’ll have a whole hour on the nets, during which time we’re sure you’ll burn plenty of energy! Enjoy the lights, the music, and take some time-out on the benches if needed. Spectators can see the majority of the nets from these benches.
Finishing up
Once your hour is up (which will be indicated by the lights changing colour), you will head back the way you came and drop your helmet off in the designated area. Our Llechwedd Caffi is directly next door to this space, so you can easily pop by for a bite to eat and a drink after your adventure.
