Treetop Drop offers the chance to test your nerve as it’s up to you to take the plunge and walk off the edge of the 46ft tower. This adventure is certainly one for the fearless or budding adrenaline-junkies.

What to expect from your experience
So what’s involved in the experience? Here we’ll talk you through each step of the process for ultimate peace-of-mind, and you’ll see just how accessible this adventure really is!
Check-in
The first step of any Zip World adventure; arrive half an hour before your adventure start-time to check-in at reception and settle in.
Kit-up
Once checked-in, you’ll be pointed in the direction of the kit-up area, where you’ll be given that all-important safety brief and be fitted into your harness and helmet.
Time to drop
Depending on which ticket option you’ve chosen you will now take to the edge of the 46ft tower, and plummet (safely of course) to the woodland ground below, either on the slow or quick drop! Drop 1, 2 or 3 times.
De-kit
You’ll conveniently land right next to the kit-up area, so an instructor will remove your harness for you. Why not spend the rest of your time at Zip World Windermere checking out the Treetop Nets, or explore the stunning Brockhole on Windermere?

When should I arrive?
You will need to arrive on site ready to check in for your experience 30 minutes prior to your adventure start time.
What should I wear?
You will need to wear warm comfortable clothing suitable to the weather on the day, with walking boots or trainers. Some of our experiences require your arms and legs to be covered, please check individual adventure restrictions to see if this applies to you.
Can I protect my booking if I need to make any last-minute changes?
Yes, you can purchase ticket protection insurance at check-out which will allow you the flexibility to make a last-minute change or cancellation.
Can I book over the phone?
It is quicker to book online, but you’re welcome to call us if you’d prefer; please do so on 01248 601 444. Please note there may be a wait time on the phone, particularly during busy periods.
When are you open?
We are open all year round except Christmas day and Boxing Day. During off-peak seasons, please visit our checkout to see our booking calendar and our opening days. Each site has different opening times and days so please check our website.

How do I book?
The easiest way to book is online. Click the red ‘Book Now’ button at the top of the page, and select your adventure, time, date and number of participants.
Do I need to book in advance or can I just turn up?
We’d always recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment. If you turn up without a booking, we will do our best to fit you in, but cannot guarantee this. Please be sure to book in advance if you’re travelling a distance to visit us.

Located just a short drive from the charming town of Windermere, our adventure park is easily accessible by car, with ample parking available. Public transport options, including buses and trains, are also conveniently close, ensuring a smooth journey to our exhilarating attractions.
