Zip World Quarry Karts Opens!

Spanning over 3km of dirt track, the course will weave through the Penrhyn Quarry mountain, to the stunning Snowdonia mountain range backdrop, Anglesey and beyond. The track will boast a number of obstacles, including chicanes, berms, tunnels, twists and turns, and not to mention the zippers up above!

With your Quarry Karts ticket, you’ll be entitled to 2 rides – so grab your kart and head back up in our famous red truck to beat your first time and select a different route to further explore the possibilities of the track.

Receive a tailored safety briefing from our experienced team after donning your Zip World jumpsuit, helmet and goggles, before setting off down the track! Ride side-by-side with your friends and family, stag, hen, or work team and discover each element the track has to offer, with the stunning Quarry Lake to your left, and the beautiful Ogwen Valley to your right. Children over the age of 15 are welcome to participate with adult supervision. 

The entire experience will last around 2 hours, including a full safety briefing, the scenic walk to the Kart Base, and your 2 rides. Treat yourself afterwards to our newly launched menu at the on-site Blondin Restaurant, a coffee or even a Zip Lager!
