Launching July 2022, we’re welcoming the world's first subterranean adventure golfing course in cavern to our Llechwedd Quarry site, and now’s your chance to get your hands on some tickets!

What is Underground Golf?

Based at our Llechwedd site in Blaenau Ffestiniog, Underground Golf is located deep in the caverns of an old Victorian mine - a long way away from your average game of golf. This unique adventure golf course features 18-holes and will offer an amazing sensory experience full of impressive sound effects, explosions and 4D encounters to take you back to the future. Undergo a little touch of history while you putt your way through this impressive slate mining themed adventure golf course. With minecart tracks, slides and suspended rope bridges, climb the levels and the challenge will increase, ensuring some seriously exciting and competitive fun for all the family.


What are the restrictions?

This adventure activity for adults and kids will be open to anyone aged 3 and above, with anyone under the age of 15 needing an accompanying adult. Underground Golf will be accessible via Europe’s steepest cable railway and as with all our underground adventures, a helmet should be worn at all times - we will provide this!

 

When is the launch?

Underground Golf will be launching on 29th July 2022.

Our team have placed cameras down in the mine to capture our new activity coming to life. So far, the steelworks are almost done, all 4 floors are up, and the most exciting part starts in the next couple of weeks when we begin work on the interior. We’d like to give a big thank you to local suppliers and businesses Gerallt Evans Metalcraft and Eryl Griffiths and team for their help on this exciting project, as well as our internal maintenance, projects and Llechwedd teams for all their hard work. We can’t wait to see the finished product this summer!

 

How much does it cost and how do I book?

Book now to be one of the first to play this world-first adventure. Prices will reflect peak and off-peak times. Ticket prices for children aged 3 and 4 years are £7-£9. Tickets for children aged between 5 and 15 years old are £14-£18. Tickets for adults and children over 16 are £20-£25. We are also offering a special offer for groups of 4, costing only £52-£65.
