Zip World to open a new adventure site in London


We’re so excited to share the news that we have big plans to open a new Zip World location in London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park! We will be taking over operations of the UK’s largest sculpture, the ArcelorMittal Orbit, which is also home to the world’s tallest and longest tunnel slide.

Joining Zip World Manchester and Zip World Windermere, Zip World in London will be our 3rd location based in England, and we can’t wait to welcome you all when we open the doors of this latest site in early 2025.

ArcelorMittal Orbit offers the chance to embark on the high-speed slide, which twists and turns 12 times along a massive 178m track. For those less adventurous types, the top of the structure boasts panoramic views of London’s famous skyline and landmarks, including the London Stadium, to Canary Wharf, Big Ben and St Paul’s Cathedral beyond.

With over 10 years’ of creating extraordinary adventures across the UK under our belts, we’re looking forward to not just taking over operations of this location but enhancing and adding to it too! We currently have big plans to add 2 new adventures to the location, but all in good time of course, and we’re looking forward to just getting settled in and getting the iconic ArcelorMittal Orbit re-opened for now.
