The Tower Grotto festive experience returns to South Wales this Christmas 2024!
Treat the whole family to festive fun at Zip World Tower Grotto this December 2024, where you can expect the traditional grotto experience combined with fun Christmassy activities, and maybe even an adventure to boot!
Step foot into the Cegin Glo Bar & Bistro, centrally located on the adventure destination that is Zip World Tower, and head upstairs to the mezzanine, where you will find a cosy Christmas grotto - Santa will be there to greet you with open arms and give you a special Christmas present. The magic continues outside the grotto with festive activities for all the family.
What’s included in a Tower Grotto ticket?
1. Meet-and-greet with Santa in the traditional grotto
2. A gift from Santa (you might meet the Grouch too!)
3. A Welsh slate bauble to decorate at the decoration station
4. Write a letter to Santa and post it at the letter writing station
5. A mince pie and hot chocolate/ mulled wine
When and where is Tower Grotto?
Tower Grotto will be open on select days from 30th of November to the 24th December 2024. Opening times vary, so please pick your tickets to view the calendar.

Tower Grotto tickets and prices
There are a few ticket options available, starting at £11 for an adult’s ticket, which includes all of the above, apart from the gift from Santa. Children’s tickets start at £13 and include the gift from Santa.
Who is Tower Grotto for?
Tower Grotto is an appropriate experience for anyone of any age. We kindly ask that all family members who come along and see Santa/ participate in the activities also have a ticket.
Do I need to pre-book Tower Grotto?
We would highly recommend pre-booking to avoid disappointment, however we will do out best to fit you in without a booking. This is not guaranteed however.
