We are so proud to be re-opening indoor adventures at the former Adventure Parc Snowdonia as Zip World Conwy, North Wales, on the 22nd March 2024, breathing new life into the already incredible location.

Zip World Conwy is now our latest adventure location in North Wales, and 7th overall. Based in the beautiful Welsh village of Dolgarrog and set to the wonderful backdrop of the Eryri National Park, this site aims to be your one-stop-shop for weather-proof adventures, food, drink and even an overnight stay in our Camping Pods!

Adventures on-site

We’ll be opening a bunch of exciting indoor adventures at Zip World Conwy, perfect for rainy day activities or to burn off some energy. Here’s what you’ll find on-site;

Adrenaline Indoors
Does what it says on the tin – Adrenaline Indoors is a thrill-seeker’s dream, consisting of a ninja assault course, extreme slides and a stunt jump zone. You’ll find yourself tackling various obstacles such as ropes, monkey bars, balance beams – think soft play but for big kids and adults! At Adrenaline Indoors you’ll also find the extreme slides – a selection of drop slides that are sure to get your heart racing as you fly through the air and land on the inflatable bouncy pad. End the experience with the ultimate test of nerve; a freefall from the stunt jump platforms! After a quick safety briefing from our Adventure Team, you’ll get the chance to take on 3 jump platforms, each higher than the last, dropping down to the bouncy pad below.

 

Elevation Indoors
We’ve done high ropes in the trees, we’ve done high ropes underground, and now we’re bringing you high ropes indoors so that you can truly escape the elements and still get that taste for adventure! Our Elevation Indoors Via Ferrata system will see you balancing, traversing and scaling the height of the building, with the best view in the house of the adventure ongoing below! Once you’ve received your safety briefing and training, you’re good to go and follow the course at your own pace, and help is always at hand where needed.

 

Altitude Climber
Themed crazy climbs don’t get much better than this. Swap the traditional climbing holds for fun bubbles and waves to name a couple, and you’ve got yourself an immersive challenge! Climb the tall walls to your heart’s content whilst being safely clipped into our auto-belay system, which will lower you safely and slowly to the ground when you’re ready. Parents can watch on knowing their little ones are safe and sound, and can even have a go themselves for a fun challenge! This adventure appeals to any age and ability, all you need is a bit of energy and a head for heights.

 

Soft Play
One for the kids and toddlers; Soft Play is the perfect rainy day activity for kids, or even somewhere to let them burn off some energy over the weekend or school holidays. Kick back with a brew as they explore our multi-level soft play zone, consisting of slides, mini-obstacles and a ball pit.

 

Let's take it outdoors: Adrenaline Drop
If you do want to venture outdoors, we have just the thing; Adrenaline Drop is the ultimate test of your nerve as you’re clipped into our safety system, before stepping off the 40ft ledge to experience true freefall. Don’t worry, the auto-belay system will catch you towards the end of the drop, lowering you safely to the ground.


 

About the site

You may have visited the site before; formerly known as Adventure Parc Snowdonia, the site is nestled in the Welsh village of Dolgarrog, well-known for its stunning, sprawling views. Alongside our indoor adventures, we will be opening the wonderful on-site cafe so that you have plenty chance to re-fuel and tuck into a delicious snack from the balcony as the adventure unfolds around you. We’ll also have everything else you’d expect; fast, free Wifi, bathroom facilities and plenty of free parking. We’re also conveniently located right next door to the Hilton Garden Inn, which has a popular spa.

Camping Pods
The icing on the cake, why not ditch the tent and elevate your experience by spending the evening in one of our on-site Camping Pods. These cosy wooden pods come complete with outdoor decking, heating and power sockets to add that extra layer of convenience to your stay. Wake up well-rested and in the thick of the adventure – our pods are quite literally a stone’s throw away from the main adventure building. As this is a camping experience, please don’t forget to bring along your bedding as you would with a tent, and leave the rest to us. Shared bathroom and washroom facilities are also located nearby.

 

School trips and group stays
With all of the above in mind, we're sure you'll agree that Zip World Conwy is the perfect spot for school trips (including an overnight stay!) and group bookings. We have over 30 pods sleeping up to 4 people each in our secure location, so the more the merrier!

Opening times and booking

Zip World Conwy will be open at varying times. We open daily during holidays and weekends, and will be open on various weekdays depending on the time of year. We’d recommend checking this by adding a Zip World adventure to your basket and a calendar will appear on-screen. Prices also vary depending on which adventure you’re booking, and the time of year. This can be also seen on the calendar.
